Training philosophy

We believe that in our body, everything is related. Despite the fact that we will be doing different exercises, activities and drills, the main goal will always remain to bring the best climber possible out from inside you.

During this process, we will assess your climbing and give you advice so you will be able to constantly introduce new skills to your climbing, learning not only how to climb better but also to be able to detect your weaknesses on your own.

Training programs steps

  • Pre-assesment: This initial evaluation is designed to gather essential information about your current skill level, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Once the pre-assessment is complete, your journey kicks off with a meticulously crafted training program. From strength-building exercises to technique refinement, each component is handpicked to align with your goals.
  • To ensure continuous progress, we conduct assessments every five weeks. These checkpoints allow us to track your development, make necessary adjustments to your training regimen, and make a plan adjustment if needed.

To make you a better climber, we will try to improve the three pillars of climbing:

Strength

Of course, without continually becoming a stronger climber, you never will be able to climb better and send harder routes. Strength is necessary not only to hold yourself onto the wall, but also to maintain the stability of your joints and prevent injuries.
There are thousands of ways of getting stronger, but we will work hard to find the one that benefits you specifically.

Technique

It does not matter how strong you are if poor technique holds you back. Foot work, hip mobility, efficiency of movement are just some of the things that need to be focused on and improved to be able to continue to improve as a climber. We aim to climb like we are dancing on the wall, and to do that you have to be elegant and precise.

Mind

Climbing is a mindfulness activity. It is hard to climb well if you are not aware of your whole body, if you do not breathe calmly, and if you are thinking about the fall instead of the next move. By helping you to improve your headspace, we aim to conquer fears and self-doubts that may be holding your climbing back

What are you paying for?

What we are offering is an on-line training plan designed to your needs, taking into account: the time and the resources you have to train, your grade, technique, tactics, efficiency, strength, resistance, RFD and other aspects. of your physiological profile.

How are we going to do it?

1º- We will send you a questionnaire by email to find out about you: your goals, how you have trained (if you have), discomforts or pain you have while climibng, how long you have been climbing for. We will also ask you to send us two videos of you climbing , one climbing on sight and a second one on a project.

2º- Once you fill out the form, we will meet by video conference to assess your physiological profile, tactics and technique and we will explain to you the different tests we will be doing to assess your progress.

3º- Within a week we will give you a training plan.

4º- After that month, we will ask you to do the tests that we taught you and you will send us the results so we can check your progress and if we are making the appropriate decisions to achieve your goal.

5º Depending on the results of the tests and the videos, we will adapt the training plan for the following month.

6º At the end of the month we will ask you for feedback and we will have a chat to discuss feelings

What if I do not know how to do an exercise?

We will provide detailed descriptions and share instructional videos for each exercise in our training programs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding. Our aim is to guide you through the proper execution of each workout for optimal results. If you still have some questions about them, we will give you our email so you can ask us your questions and we will answer you within 24 hours from Monday to Friday.
